April Fishing in Tampa0
April is a great month to go fishing because the water is perfect at around 70 degrees and this provides for great fishing.
This is when Redfish, Snook, Tarpon, Mackerel, Inshore Grouper and Cobia decide it is time to come out and play. Snook got hit hard in the winter of 2009 – 2010 when all the fish seemed to freeze here in Florida and I lived on a water front canal house at the time and I can tell you it was really bad seeing all of the fish that died because of the Florida cold snap that set record lows. With all of this gone now and Snook making an effort to come back to where their populations were at before the Florida cold snap that hit in 2009 – 2010 it seems like the fish of choice is Redfish for most anglers in the Tampa Bay area. This is mainly due to farm raised fish that are released into the Tampa Bay every year and are providing great sport fishing for Redfish in Tampa Bay.
Your fishing charter in Tampa should have many different types of bait on board to catch fish.
